What this site is

The journey to creating this site has been long and winding. Those who know me know that I don’t easily put myself out there, so this is very much outside my comfort zone. However, with eight years of experience in the field of physical therapy, as well as coaching clients in exercise programs designed to prevent future injuries based on their lifestyle, I feel that I finally have something of substance to add to the field.

This site is not dedicated to athletes and performance—that is not my area of expertise—but rather to everyday people who want to stay active. It’s for those who may not be able to or interested in, training like professional athletes but still want to know what they should focus on in order to continue enjoying their hobbies—whether that’s a pickup game of basketball, trying out pickleball, or simply playing catch with their kids. The strength and conditioning required for these activities are not the same as those required of athletes, and there’s a reason many athletes develop joint and muscle problems as they age.

My goal is to help as many people as possible continue doing the things they love—whether that’s yoga, Pilates, or other activities—for as long as they can, without feeling pressured to chase numbers like how much weight they can deadlift or how many miles they’ve run.

If this sounds like something you’re interested in, I’d love for you to stick around and see if I can contribute to your journey!
